Countless numbers of people have ended their pain through this simple knowledge and adopting some specific practices to "feel your emotions" and convince yourself you are not broken.

What if I’m afraid of having sex with my husband because of intense pelvic pain? If I get better I’m still afraid to be intimate with him because it has hurt so much in the past. I haven’t had a vaginal exam in 2 years because the last one was excruciating. How do I get over that fear?

So I did the quiz and answered yes to 90% mine is nerve pain worse on my left side and pots etc to not go in too deep. I’ve had every test imaginable and not much found and what’s noted is Mild and doesn’t explain my wide array of symptoms. Could it help me?

I don't think i'm failing Dan, my brain just doesn't want to cooperate. I believe i'm just doing too much and I get a flare up, it seems like even small un expected surprises can flare me up and put me back in looking for safety.

Yes, not failing, not failure. It might help to think of a mistake as a miss-take, so "take" it again, if we believe we were failing because we did something we consider wrong, remember that's how learning occurs, slloooowly, look at history, ancient sages and philosophers knew and stated many wise things and we are still not doing them. That's the human way. its a new day, do it again with more wisdom under your belt. A meditation practice (not spiritual, not religious), it gives you the opportunity to be the scientist observer of your thinking, which at first can be yikes, but then is freeing, pain free you.

I think it's the other way around. People are afraid to do the assessments not because they might find out it's not TMS, they're afraid to find out it is ... and then they have no more excuses to hang on to their symptoms.
Any advice on how to help a 13 yr old girl get through this? I feel like I've almost made it worse trying to explain this to her...😢 overwhelmed her. She is so negative and fearful, and anxious. If anyone has any advice...

I learned I need a table sppon of Braggs Apple Cider vinegar every morning with water, and magnesium oil every morning to keep my digestive system in order - I cannot skip this in the morning or stop doing it because then my digestive system suffers. Some physical things need to be done to relieve some physical symptoms.

100% agree and there is one ingredient to not forget: Patience, give yourself some time. Nothing is instantaneous! Some days it's a bit more difficult, but be patient, it might be much much easier the next day, so wait for it!

Hey Dan, what if the pain is strongly connected with a physical thing like peeing. Not always but very often after urination my pain immediately flares or appears out of nowhere. It feels like I’m irritation a nerve during urination. It’s hard for me to explain it as tms because I can feel all good during the day then I go to the toilet and pain starts immediately. Do you have an opinion on that?
Yes, all that means is that the brain LEARNED that peeing is "dangerous". But it's not. We were designed to urinate. The body is not being damaged by that bodily function. I would feel like a failure if I stopped trying to get better.. Well, whether someone was diagnosed with ADHD, the concepts apply equally. Perceived danger creates pain or symptoms. Safety is the solution. People with ADHD can recover. Dan, I took both accessments and score high. The part I have not done is go over symptoms part. It confuses me. Do I go over current symptoms or everything I have been diagnosed with over time for each thing. Some more valid like osteoporosis. I’m not in pain physically. I think it’s more an emotional thing.Doubt myself so much. I’ve noticed my anxiety has gone way down and I’ve watched a number of your videos. Feeling like that I was broken, not able to do bookwork etc. is starting to get better but I do slip back pretty quickly. Too much time on UA-cam and phone. Disconnect from life. I've had what I now think is pudendal neuralgia because it irritates different organs at different times. Right now, it's my bladder, constant urgency when I don't even have any urine.
